Our class name is:  Lion's Pride

We spend our morning with Open Court reading and grammar and writing.  After lunch we focus on math, science, and social studies.

We have daily classroom homework assignments. These include 2 pages of reading or grammar, two pages of math, and the students must write a sentence with their spelling words using "when" sentences. 

(A when sentence begins with when.  Example:  When the sun goes down, it is time to go to bed.)

We are working hard on our reading comprehension because we want to earn high marks on the state test.
