***FOR HOTA AND ANTHROPOLOGY*** Parents and Students taking more than one IB exam in May, please be aware that I am allowing students to study for their exams without penalty in History of the Americas. I will freeze their current grade and not hold them accountable to turn in all the homework assignments during the testing period. They are also excused to make up this work. However they will resume homework after May 23rd. To prepare for our FINAL EXAM, assigned readings for the class are expected to be read by Dead Week. This material will be included on our final exam.
Email me regarding questions for assignments: lallers@pps.k12.or.us
Accessing documents: Most assignments are available under MY FILES at the top menu. If they are not posted, please see the Assignment Notebook in my room for copies. Come to tutorial if you are absent to pick up your make-up work.
For research papers and projects, please check FAVORITE SITES. These sites include helpful tips for writing papers and documenting sources, as well as accessing databases to help find primary and secondary sources. For OSLIS, the username is port and the password is oslis.
Please keep in mind the 7-day policy for all late work or make-up work. If you miss an assignment, whether it's excused or unexcused, you have 7 days from when the assignment was due to when you can turn it in for a reduced grade. There is a grade deduction for UNEXCUSED late work; typically your work will drop a letter grade before I begin grading your work. ..........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
