Homework
Homework packets are handed out every Monday and are due back on Friday.  Each night your child will have one language page, one math page and one spelling activity to complete.  Your child is also required to read out loud to you for 20 minutes each night.  A reading log is sent home each Monday and is to be filled out by your child when he/she is done with the 20 minutes of reading.  A parent is to sign the reading log and your child is to bring the reading log to school everyday so I may see it.  Incomplete or unfinished class work may be sent home as additional homework and is due the following school day.  Homework is a required part of first grade and is not optional.
