Todd Dellutri - Football, Track - (1981), Jr. and Sr. year - 1st team All Foothill League- All-CIF Football (both Jr. and Sr. year) Todd is 4th in the all time total receiving yardage for JBHS 1987 yards (two years) - Full Scholarship to USC. Coached Football and Track at John Burroughs from 1990-1994
Brett Mersola - Football, Track - First Team All Foohill League - 1st Team All-CIF while at John Burroughs Highs School. Brett still holds individual season scoring (150 points)- 2nd all Time Rushing Leader with 1,987 yards. He also holds the all-time punt return (99 yards).
Jeff Barrett - Football (1987) 1st team-Foothill League both Jr. and Senior Year.(2nd team as a Sophmore) - 1st team All CIF- Full Scholarship in Football to Brown University: Career holder in TD (47) While playing for JBhS.: Career Passing 6083 yards
Bob Dunivant - Bob coached football and track at John Burroughs High School for 25 years: he was head football coach for 19 years and lead the Indians to six Foothill League championships. He also helped to lead the Indians to the CIF finals in 1981 and 1987:
George Rosales - George lead John Burroughs High school to the CIF Finals in 1981: George was a football coach and track coach at John Burroughs High School
Ron Morris - Record and accomplishments: 1950- All-City pole vault champ, 11'3-3/4"... 1951- Burroughs soph record 12'10"... 1952- California state champ, 13'3"... 1953- Burroughs record, 13'11-1/8"... Foothill League record... interscholastic record... CIF champion... California state champ, 13'9-1/8"...
