Welcome to Art History at Cranford High School!
Art History is an area of study that explores the development of culture and art throughout time. I encourage you to open your minds to new ways of thinking - cultures differ across place and time, and considering the view points of cultures outside of your own is essential. As culture and art are inexorably linked, being open to understanding other cultures will help you to better appreciate and understand the variety of art we will be studying.

Check this Web page regularly:
The Art History Part 1, Part 2, and AP courses are very challenging. We will explore art from the Paleolithic era to today. There is much to accomplish in a short amount of time we have from September to June. We will examine, think, and write about significant works of art created throughout the centuries. Be sure to check further down on this webpage regularly for assignments, course information, links to homework files, and special internet site links. Additional files, links, and assignment information can be found under the tabs above.
