October

We practiced our descriptive writing with the Monster Exchange Project. We partnered with a 4th grade class at Dixie Elementary School in San Rafael, California. The purpose of the project is to practice descriptive writing along with technology skills. Students drew monsters and then wrote descriptions for the other class. The class in CA recreated the monster based on the description. Both pictures are uploaded onto the MonsterExchange.Org site to compare. This project is a lot of fun, and a good way to meet other classes. Click on "Our Monster Gallery" to see how the classes did.
