10:50-11:45  Lunch and recess
11:45-12:10  Open Court Reading Comprehension
12:10-12:30  Science/Social Science
12:30- 1:00   Math
1:00 - 1:30   Open Court Writing and Journals
1:30 - 1:40   Prepare for dismissal/ Stories and songs

UNIT THEMES:  School;  Shadows;  Finding Friends;  The Wind;  Red, White and Blue;  Stick To It;  Teamwork;  By the Sea.

WEEKLY HOMEWORK:  Homework assignments go home on Fridays and are due on or before the following Thursday. The monthly reading log is due at the end of the month.  Please read to your student at least 20 minutes per night and then record the title of the book or the number of pages on the reading log.
